Membership to USTAR is reviewed yearly, and due to our funds we can accept only 25 students. If you are interested fill out and submit the application form.
Please note that membership is only open to students who support technology on campus in the form of working for departmental labs, Schaffer Library, Instructional Technology or ITS.
- Participation in activities that are geared towards achieving the goals of USTAR is mandatory.
- Attendance at general meetings is mandatory.
- Attendance at all USTAR and trainer taught courses is mandatory unless the course is previously taken
- Be willing to teach courses and share knowledge with fellow USTAR employees, students, faculty, and staff.
- Participate in the RESNET setup program in the Fall
- Be formally evaluated twice a year, end of fall term, and winter term. Evaluation will be conducted by the Steering committee and respective supervisors.
- Eligibility for continuation and rehire are based on the evaluation process.
- Abide by the
computing guidelines set by the Information Technology Services(ITS)
