The Union Student Technical Assistance Resources (USTAR) program assists in
providing a viable, trained and coordinated user support program to multiple
constituencies of the college community and at the same time allows the
students involved to accumulate on the job technical and professional
experience and mentoring skills.

Provide technical support through the Office of
Computer Services, Instructional Technology, Schaffer Library and the academic
departmental computer labs.

Assist the college to better serve its students'
technology needs.

Assist faculty who seek to further their technology
skills.
-
Support faculty and staff with new or ongoing
projects.
-
Develop and teach courses to student, faculty, and
staff.
-
Help with RESNET setup at the beginning of the
academic year.
-
Help develop and maintain departmental web pages with
the advice of Professors.
-
Build a foundation of technical and professional
skills the USTAR's will draw upon in future technological careers.
